AKC Minirosa's Dixie's Nikki Nikki #D957313 Cert issued Jun 11, 1990 We picked Nikki up in Louisville, KY, when she was 10 weeks old and when Hilda came out the door with this black bundle of love, Nikki jumped into my arms, took one look at us and decided we were just fine. For the next 13 years she was a member of the family and gave so much to both of us. During Pat's knee surgery (four of them), she watched over her and was such a comfort. Nikki went to obedience classes (although she really didn't need them) and was a star! She watched over us as we gardened and made sure nothing sneaked up to scare us. What a traveler! She always took the back seat, watched the road for Mickey D's and a treat. During Donna's cancer treatment she was such a comfort, quite understanding and never left my side. When she battled her own cancer she was so brave and understood we were always there for her. Nikki spent her last few months training Carly, our other Belgian Sheepdog, about how to handle us and be a good member of this family. As I sit here writing this through my tears, we both loved her so much. There is a hole in my heart and in Pat's, she will be deeply missed. This black bundle of love better be waiting for us! Donna Finney, Patricia Harbaugh and Carly (filling the hole with her
